Here at Denton Reserve we’re committed to delivering on restoration, regeneration and reconnection of nature recovery.
Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG), was introduced by the Environment Act 2021 and requires developers to leave the natural environment in a measurably better situation than it was prior to the development taking place. This ensures that the natural world is considered in all planning discussions and that with each development that takes place, that biodiversity improves by 10%.
At Denton Reserve, we provide BNG units from our nature focussed land management on our 2500 acre estate, enabling developers in the region to meet their planning obligations, for a variety of different habitat unit types.
The BNG is managed by our expert team for a minimum of the 30-year term, providing a risk-free solution which is covered by the S106. The land is in the North Yorkshire LPA and adjacent to Leeds and Bradford LPAs as well as spanning the Yorkshire Dales NCA and the Southern Pennines NCA.
