The Penny Bun
We've reimagined our local inn to create a blend of old and new, with menus celebrating the best Yorkshire produce and field to fork food from Denton Reserve.
Close to Ilkley, with access to miles of Wharfedale walks and five restful screen-free bedrooms designed for sleep and curated with care. The Penny Bun is a stylish, sustainable weekend escape.

You can check-in from 3pm and check-out by 11am. Please contact us if you require an early/late check-in or check-out.
The Penny Bun in Askwith is open for dinner five days a week. For a more personal offering, our Estate Head Chef will personally oversee the menu using locally sourced food and seasonal ingredients to create a bespoke menu. From restaurant quality food with no restrictions on your menu, to woodland fire feasts and delicious Denton deliveries of hampers and picnics, all our food is local, seasonal and exceptional.
There are different types of accommodation available on the reserve. The hall is available only for exclusive hire, including all 10 bedrooms for a minimum of two nights. The Coach House lodges can be hired individually for a three night minimum.
